We are strongest when the Project’s resources, action and services are developed in collaboration with people from a variety of experiences and backgrounds.
Understanding
Everyone wants their student to flourish. Our journeys as parents, caregivers, allies and educators are unique to each of us. The Project is committed to meeting everyone where they are on their understanding of sex and gender and to helping people grow.
Accessibility
It is important for the work of the Project to be accessible to everyone. We intentionally seek the voices and perspectives of many communities to eliminate unintended barriers in our resources and services.
Respect
We recognize the humanity in everyone. This is the point we start from in our efforts to educate others.
Local
This work is about understanding local, on-the-ground issues with LGBTQ+ youth and using this knowledge to foster dialog and support statewide.
